We took a ride to Newport last week since the sun decided to come out. It was still quite cold, though.

Shad Factory

Last night I paid a visit to the Shad Factory, located in Rehoboth, Massachusetts. I grew up less than a mile from this lovely spot, and walked here often. I have lots of colorful and fun memories of this place with family, friends, and even our dog. This was a favorite spot for exploration, stone skipping, fishing, and feet dipping.

Fishing Hole Blackbird

I tagged along with my guys to the fishing hole this evening, and this pretty little blackbird hung around to see what the catch of the day was. No catch, but we always have fun by the water!
